Let me be straight forward here and began this blog by saying that I am not an Albert Gore fan, nor am I a huge admirer of Dickey Cheney. I am just a half citizen of two nations. One nation boasts as the leader of the world and the other is trying to live happily amongst nations. But that aint is the topic at hand. What I am about to divulge is somewhat of an environmentalist point of view. Our world has shown some weird movements that must be talked about and in my case, make some sense out of.

Two days ago, I was somewhere in the Northwest where it was sunny like summer but cold like a winter. Talking with my friends down in Nevada and Eastern California, it was snowing crazy like it was in the middle of Russia town. This is what I am talking about. This craziness of the season. No wonder Mr. Gore had dissappeared from the front of the Evening and Sunday news. Ooops, I forgot he got the Nobel Peace Medal. I guess Dickey Cheyney is appearing too often just to see if he can at least get a No Peace Medal price from the Rebups and the Tea Partiers.

Hey, look. I almost forgot I have to include some things about home sweet home, the island nations of Micronesia. Yeah, I am talking crystal clear waters and those awesome fantastic and scenic beaches in Chuuk, Pohnpei and Yap, and the sleeping lady of Kosrae. Heck we have lots of our own men and women fighting the never ending wars of the middle east.

Now it's time someone brings up the topic of getting educated in America and then go sit under those coconut trees in Chuuk. I wish that one day I will be able to do just that.

MyCoconut friends, you need to pray for me. I need your help. lol. Good bye now and see you soon.

Hey everybody :] it's been sometime since I've written a blog, I'll try to update more frequently. *Sigh* Well, not much has changed. Last time, I wrote about how I had finals, and I passed them
all!!! Thank the lord. LOL. I started a new semester in school, and guess what? My first week of second semester, I ended up going to ALL the wrong classes, every single day. They were switching me in and out of classes, which screwed up the attendence roster, but now everything is finally back on track. Speaking of school, I recently went, to a community college, to take a test to see if I qualify for their running start program. [Running start- high school prgram that allows students to recieve both college & high school credits.] The test standard was based off of college questions, so it was tough, but I passed it. YAY! Now I know that I can read/write at college level, LOL. But the thing is, selective colleges prefer high schoolers to stay in high school and take AP classes, because they're more rigorous & intense. So, I guess I'll be staying at my school :D

Other than school, I realized that I am EXTREMELY into the soft, beauftiful melody of a piano, & the soothing rythms of R&B. I don't know why, but that's all I've been listening to. I can't stand listening to anything else, ESPECIALLY rap. Ewww. No offense to those who like/love this genre. I'm just not into TODAY's rap, because the lyrics are so vulgar and, in one way or another, it's bigotry. But that's just my opinion.

The weather is sunny and blue sky. It starts my day off with a smile :] It's so beautiful outside, though the temperature is a bit cool. It's weird because it's freezing on east coast & down south, but the west is really enjoying this. Or at least, I sure am.

Okay, I'm out for now :D
Talk to you all later ^_^
Have a wonderful day(s)

I am sure you've heard all the great stories about cops and racial profiling and I am here to warn my Islander brethren that we are all in the same boats as everyone else. What shall we do to get ourselves out of this profiling? Have you thought about this? Have you had an experience? If you do, come to my blog and share it please. I for one really need to know what happened to you. Were you issued a ticket, just a warning, abused in anyways, etc..? Come on in and share your story.

My first warning is to stay away from low-riders. Yes, low riders. Mexicans love to drive these low riding fancy or not so fancy trucks and any white man can just get them. It just make it a lot easier for that white cop. Everydays, here in this state, I see low riders pulled over for apparently no reason. I am sure the reason is they may have drugs or maybe they are illegals. lolz. But anyhow, please stay away from Low Riders.

On the opposite side of Low Riders are the fancy SUVS. Please get one! I mean get yourself a good looking, in shape and original SUV. Do not, and I repeat do not change the tires to a monsterous humongous tire. Keep it original so to merge yourself into the majority, or may I be more straight forward and say merge into the white majority. Just put some light tint to hide your face. Do not over do it! It will tick them off. lol.

Now you must have yourself an insurance card. A valid one! And make sure you bring your driver's license with you at all times. And on top of all these, put on your seat belt and follow the speed limit to the teeth.

I hope this little piece of information will keep you safe and most off all, out of racial profiling cases. Good luck to you.

Have you asked yourself what is the "American Dream" and what it means to you? Is it owning your own home, having a car of your dream, a family to mingle with, or is it something else? From an Islander point of view, does it really mean anything? Living the American Dream... Hmmmm...

I am not you, as you might have known already , but coming from the islands, my dream was to have a roof on top of my head, clothing to cover thyself, and food to feed my hungry appetite. That is my American Dream. I think just coming to America is the American dream, at least to me that is the American Dream. OOOoops! I did it again. This has brought up another question to look into.

Are we (Islanders) really Americans? Can we dream the American Dream? Wow, never thought of that until this very moment. Down deep, I will always be an islander, but on the surface, living here and doing things like every other human living on these lands, I might just call myself an American. So I shall dream the American Dream. Fair and Square? Now let's leave that at that, problem solved.

I am sure any islander will tell you that the American Dream is everything but beer and whiskey. What? Are you kidding me? The American dream to an islander, is beer and whiskey and nothing else. lol... Hahahahhahahah..... Cool? How about BBQ beef and the Chicken Adobo? Isn't that the American Dream? Hahahaahahahaha.... Ah, never mind. Let's all keep dreaming...

Anxiously Optimistic-Pac 10 is hard to tell.

Greetings MyCoconut Fanatics, as I am sitting here contemplating on what is going to be on today's plate, there is one thing that cannot escape my mind. The Beavs are in for a fight this afternoon and as good as they are, there is no one that understands the PAC 10 can be certain that they will come out on top. It never is a sure thing in the PAC! Just ask the Trojan fans and they would tell you all about the experience they had last year-the only team they were beaten by was a PAC 10 team and that happened to the Beavs. Or you may want to check the result of last weekends game between the Oregon Ducks and the Stanford-yeah the poor Duckies didn't make it out unfeathered. They lost that one handily.

So as unsettling as the waiting can be, I am at least most certain about one thing. The Beavs had proven year after year that they can be a team to reckon with late in the season. Perhaps, I maybe too foolish to get too comfy about this one, but man what else can I relax my mind on. It had to be this one. At least until proven to me otherwise.

The Beavs, I mean the coaches, Riley and company, had a way of finding the hidden Gems. Look at the Rodger Brothers, Haas, Steven Jackson, and the many NFL players that came out of Corvallis. The Beavs were the only team second to USC of course that sent 7 players to the NFL. That was an accomplishment. Oh, I know I must compliment the fellow Featherly brethren to the South, because yeah they sent 6. The state of Oregon sent 13 total and that was just awesome.

So, win or loose today, I will never waiver and never will I raise the white flag. We had accomplished so much in Corvallis to say otherwise. I am unsure of how many of you island mates follow College Football, but I think you should start following it. It is after all, where most of these NFL players came out of. Try going to one for once! Support your school...
