Meseyong is a tiny uninhabited atoll in the Chuuk Lagoon, of the Federated States of Micronesia. It lies West Southwest of my lovely island, Uman. It is about an hour boat ride depending on mother nature and what it decides to throw at you.

Meseyong is a beautiful island but for whatever reason its beauty never attracted anyone to live there. I had never known anyone that lives there for more than a year. There were some people camping out there for months past in the Cobra Husking era, but since then I had not heard of anyone live past a year over there.

I kept asking myself this question all these years, why Meseyong's beauty and abundant resources never attracted anyone to stay on it. Was it isolation? Distance? Mere boredom? Or is it simply ignorance on the part of the landowners? Whatever it is, it is something I cannot understand and simply won't get any answer to in my life time.

The poor island of Meseyong is living peacefully and happily all these years without any disruption whatsoever from anyone. If it were a human, it can speak to us begging for some companionship. It really is a lonely world where Meseyong lives.

I pray that one of these very days, I will be able to go back to Meseyong and live there happily after.

Oh, and just to add something sweet, there are many coconut Trees on Meseyong, so people can live there drinking coconut juice, or eating the meat, drink the beer juice and everything in between. It is a place wasting away...

Let me be straight forward here and began this blog by saying that I am not an Albert Gore fan, nor am I a huge admirer of Dickey Cheney. I am just a half citizen of two nations. One nation boasts as the leader of the world and the other is trying to live happily amongst nations. But that aint is the topic at hand. What I am about to divulge is somewhat of an environmentalist point of view. Our world has shown some weird movements that must be talked about and in my case, make some sense out of.

Two days ago, I was somewhere in the Northwest where it was sunny like summer but cold like a winter. Talking with my friends down in Nevada and Eastern California, it was snowing crazy like it was in the middle of Russia town. This is what I am talking about. This craziness of the season. No wonder Mr. Gore had dissappeared from the front of the Evening and Sunday news. Ooops, I forgot he got the Nobel Peace Medal. I guess Dickey Cheyney is appearing too often just to see if he can at least get a No Peace Medal price from the Rebups and the Tea Partiers.

Hey, look. I almost forgot I have to include some things about home sweet home, the island nations of Micronesia. Yeah, I am talking crystal clear waters and those awesome fantastic and scenic beaches in Chuuk, Pohnpei and Yap, and the sleeping lady of Kosrae. Heck we have lots of our own men and women fighting the never ending wars of the middle east.

Now it's time someone brings up the topic of getting educated in America and then go sit under those coconut trees in Chuuk. I wish that one day I will be able to do just that.

MyCoconut friends, you need to pray for me. I need your help. lol. Good bye now and see you soon.

MyCoconut is truly a wonderful place for people to come and share. The features are awesome and easy to use. I love coming here for many reasons, one of which is to share what's on my mind. Another is to be with my islandmates, and the third is to come and just hang out, listening to the many songs, and watch the videos. It is awesome feeling to be on MyCoconut.

I am from Chuuk island in the Federated States of Micronesia where coconut is everywhere. Coconut is used for many different things. The fibers can be used to make ropes and the palms can be used to make baskets, balls, hats, mats, and roofs. Coconut tree is a useful tree. From the top to the roots, every single part can be used for something.

MyCoconut is an icon representing the islands where coconut is abundant. Mycoconut is a place of gathering, like the coconut tree, it provides shades where people can come and gather and meet each other. It is a place where ideas can be exchanged and feelings can be expressed.

It is with great pleasure that I came to know and enjoy MyCoconut. It is truly a unique place on the web to come and enjoy.

Neopets. Pronounced knee-oh-pehts.
Knowned as the largest virtual pet site online along with marapets, rescratu, etc this site has been here for more then 10 years! The college students now are old neopet fans having played. Come on everyone young and old has played this game before. Even 3 year olds and 33 year olds play this multi-player game with people around the world. When you enter the site it may look like a geeky thing but there is more behind it. From friendly people to caring for your neopets you won't get bored! I rate the site 4/5 for fun avvies[which you collect for the neoboards] and siggies[for the neoboards] you can have plenty of fun. Here is a guide for you:
Once you join - Make a unique signature! You will regret making a really really bad one like this: linh_1989_3. Sorry unacceptable! But you can still make it... If you're willing to....x-x
The boards - Ok, this is where you meet the people. Just get this in mind. You can't instantly become popular but posting one message. This does not mean spamming the board! You look like a retard. Refrain from t@|k!ng lyk3 d!$. They get easily annoyed because some of them haven't had sleep lately or they are just rude Also they are very VERY sarcastic. So don't post a board like this: THIS SITE IS FOR KIDS HOW OLD ARE YOU GUYS!??!
Or else they'll reply like this: oh yeahh we're 2 years old.
Yes they are sarcastic.
The games - No one on neo plays games. Theya re boring honestly but if you're the type for games then I envy you! You are able to make np which very little do. Most sell items that they find or scam. Which I will get to.
SCAMMING - DO NOT. EVER. SCAM. Scamming means you steal an item from someone. You will be sent off neopets with a big kick to your butt and a slap to your face. Regret it. give it back. You can earn np your own way[games]
LASTLY EXPLORE TO YOUR CONTENT :D Neo has a variety of things for you to do! Have fun

Recently, well very recently actually 3 hours ago, a little girl knocked on my door. I didn't answer until 5 minutes unsure if I wanted to buy one or ignore her. But soon my guilt got the best of me and I was opening the door. A 3rd grade looking girl looked up at me with short blonde hair and said, "Would you like some cookies?" I stared at the box while she explained every cookie. "Mint. I want mint." She smiles and digs out a mint scout cookie. I pay her the 4 dollars and says, "Thanks!!" I nod and close the door. I stare at the scout cookies and smile because this is my first time eating them. I open the box and cautiously look in. I never believed that scout cookies looked good, and the scout managers just make the poor girls run around and earn them money. It was awful but as soon as I eat one I am astonished. It tastes soooooo good! It was chocolately except missing the mint part but still it was awesome! I must take a photo and show you it It tasted astonishingly good! I wished I bought more

Yep, Yep, Yep. Ladies and Gents., Chuuk is the place I came into this world to call home. It is a lovely place, a tiny little place with lots of islands and atolls. And o yes, it has many many beautiful coconut trees. Chuuk is my home. Fonuweisom is my place. And Epiweires has a special place in my heart.

There were many, and I have to say many memorable memories of home. One was the renaming of my state from Truk to what it is now called, Chuuk. Whatever the reasons were, I think it dignifies the closeness that each of us Chuukese has of our place. We want to call ourselves what our ancestors had called themselves many many moons ago. Truk was the pronounciation that was written down in the modern era, by people that accidently came upon our islands. It was to make it easy on their minds and in their ears, but to the indigenous population, my ancestors, it was a sign of a new Millenium.

Chuuk earned its independence from the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, along with Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap, in the 70's, correct me if I am wrong, in 1979 when the constitution was established and was adobted by all involved. Basically, Saipan left, Palau didn't stay, and the Marshall islands flew. It was then that the remaining four former TTPI colonies (sorry for this word), with no fault of theirs, had to come up with a constitution and that's when the union was formed. And that's when the following was born...

WE, THE PEOPLE OF MICRONESIA, exercising our inherent sovereignty, do hereby establish this Constitution of the Federated States of Micronesia.

With this Constitution, we affirm our common wish to live together in peace and harmony, to preserve the heritage of the past, and to protect the promise of the future.

To make one nation of many islands, we respect the diversity of our cultures. Our differences enrich us. The seas bring us together, they do not separate us. Our islands sustain us, our island nation enlarges us and makes us stronger.

Our ancestors, who made their homes on these islands, displaced no other people. We, who remain, wish no other home than this. Having known war, we hope for peace. Having been divided, we wish unity. Having been ruled, we seek freedom.

Micronesia began in the days when man explored seas in rafts and canoes. The Micronesian nation is born in an age when men voyage among stars; our world itself is an island. We extend to all nations what we seek from each: peace, friendship, cooperation, and love in our common humanity. With this Constitution we, who have been the wards of other nations, become the proud guardian of our own islands, now and forever.

It was a great story of how my Chuuk became part of the now Federated States of Micronesia. How lucky we are that we were not forced into forming a union, but rather left to form one. lolz... If you really think hard about it, it really is amazing. Saipan got up and left, palau decided to sit out and the Marshalls just flew away. They were the bad brothers you know. The four that left in the TTPI had no choice (because they really had no other plans), and didn't plan on leaving so they plainly came up with a union...

My Country, my home, and my union is now called the Federated States of Micronesia. Do you know that it was going to be called, FIRM? FIRM stands for Four Islands Republic of Micronesia. I think this was right. Or if you know the real one, please respond to my blog and tell me the right one.

But anyhow, Federated States of Micronesia is now Micronesia. Danggitt! Our country has a rich history of names. Firt it was the Caroline Islands, then Four States of Micronesia, and Federated States of Micronesia, and now Micronesia. What would come next? Who knows?

Let us assume Pohnpei stands up and decided to leave the Union. Then now we have a Therated States of Micronesia? Or maybe just the Tripplets? Or maybe a KCY (KosraeChuukYap)? Or Maybe Yap decided to go with Palau and Kosrae with Pohnpei? Now only my beloved Chuuk becomes its own, the Chuuk State of Micronesia (CSM for short). Not bad name, huh?

I am sure Chuuk can survive. It has been ther for Millenia so there is no doubt that Chuuk and Micronesia will be what they are forever and ever. And my lovely place of Epiweires will always be there for me. Whenever and however I go back home.

I hope you enjoy my blog. Now good night and good bye. See you tomorrow.

As most of you know, I graduated from Outer Islands High School on Falalop Ulithi in 1989, that's 21 years ago and had never been settled down in the State of Yap to do anything. That is just simply sad. The last time I was there was back in 1993-as a fisherman on one of the fishing boats. It was almost a year of service to the beautiful state of Yap. It was for a very short time. Yes, it really is very sad. I grew up there and went to school on so much scholarship from the state but I hadn't had a chance to pay back my dues...

This day, February 21st, 2010, as I was putting the final touches to the Yap State Department of Resources and Development website, I was thinking maybe doing it, managing that one website for the state since 2005 is not a bad contribution at after all. It maybe the small niche that I got for always wanting to go back, but never actually able to.

It all began in 2003, when I enrolled at the Oregon State University. The University provided its students with a space on their server to put up personal website and that's where my story of working on sites all began. I built my personal site with a lot of interest and curiosity that I had to take up a much harder course-which I took away one thing from, and that is how to create a gadget-in my case a calculator. But then I went out on my own learning how to tweak this and that.

The next thing I know, I was creating a very extensive website, which to this day is still running - the Ifagalz website. And then this MyCoconut thing came last...

But the one thing that satisfied me most is working on the Yap State Resources and Development website which can be accessed by going to www.yapdevelopments.org. I love the idea that even this far away from home, I am contributing a little of my knowledge to the state.

Many many thanks to Former Scholarship Coordinator Keith and the staff as well as the current Scholarship Coordinator Brian for allowing me to continue doing this for the great state of Yap. I am so glad and happy to do it.

I encourage you, the valuable MyCoconut Community to please take some of your precious time, visiting this wonderful website. And when you are there, please leaver a few notes for the great staff at Yap State Resources and Development.

Hey everybody :] it's been sometime since I've written a blog, I'll try to update more frequently. *Sigh* Well, not much has changed. Last time, I wrote about how I had finals, and I passed them
all!!! Thank the lord. LOL. I started a new semester in school, and guess what? My first week of second semester, I ended up going to ALL the wrong classes, every single day. They were switching me in and out of classes, which screwed up the attendence roster, but now everything is finally back on track. Speaking of school, I recently went, to a community college, to take a test to see if I qualify for their running start program. [Running start- high school prgram that allows students to recieve both college & high school credits.] The test standard was based off of college questions, so it was tough, but I passed it. YAY! Now I know that I can read/write at college level, LOL. But the thing is, selective colleges prefer high schoolers to stay in high school and take AP classes, because they're more rigorous & intense. So, I guess I'll be staying at my school :D

Other than school, I realized that I am EXTREMELY into the soft, beauftiful melody of a piano, & the soothing rythms of R&B. I don't know why, but that's all I've been listening to. I can't stand listening to anything else, ESPECIALLY rap. Ewww. No offense to those who like/love this genre. I'm just not into TODAY's rap, because the lyrics are so vulgar and, in one way or another, it's bigotry. But that's just my opinion.

The weather is sunny and blue sky. It starts my day off with a smile :] It's so beautiful outside, though the temperature is a bit cool. It's weird because it's freezing on east coast & down south, but the west is really enjoying this. Or at least, I sure am.

Okay, I'm out for now :D
Talk to you all later ^_^
Have a wonderful day(s)

I cannot for a second pretended it didn't influence me in ways that I thought could not be possible.

It was Coconut Chat that gave me the idea and the motivation to go out into the Free world and explore what is really there to take a hold on to. I chose a path of tearing computers apart, tweaks all the htm, xml, dhtml, java codes, etc.. and literrally and physically learning from it. It was chaos at first but now I can comfortably say, it has reach a point where I feel like I had done enough to put me in a comfort zone when looking at codes and whatnot. It's all because of the Coconut Chat. At least this is my story-out of that era.

Now,we have this MyCoconut thing. And let me begin by telling you where it all started out of.

As I was sitting chatting, of course on the so famous Coconut Chat, I was thinking of something that can be an alternate. So I started searching for a domain name and the very first thing that came to mind was, MyCoconut. I searched it and it was available so I bought it. I had the domain since 2003, but never put it out to the public for its consumption until 2008.

So to honor that Coconut Chat, I decided to go ahead and name the Chat on MyCoconut after it. So ladies and Gentlemen, please enjoy the Coconut Chat, powered by MyCoconut.com.

If you have any suggestion(s) and/or comments, please do not be afraid to share them. I will do everything in my power to work it to your standard.

Thank you very much for your membership. It means a lot to me. It gives me the power to keep things rolling. So please invite your relatives, friends and that special someone to join you and I here and let's make MyCoconut, the Facebook of the Islands.

Kinisou Chapur. Kammagar.
Mid-Term Blues

Hey everyone! This is my first blog due to all the craziness of high school. But I've found some time to smash this in and write something to entertain you all :]

I'm sure you've all had that one class-- or classes-- where you're at the end of the term and you have some MAJOR cramming to do. It’s not that easy, because you’ve already jammed an entire semester worth of that class into your brain. Heck, I’ve only been in high school for one and a half years, but if there is one thing I will never get used to, it is semester finals, Aka Mid-term.
Let us say that you’re a slow learner or maybe you just have awful memory—like me—your finals are in less than one week, but you’ve only managed to review the first of many chapters. It is tough to be able to keep track of school, club activities, sports, and family/friend time all in one day, oh yeah AND study. To be honest with, I think it’s impossible to do all these things in one day, but If you’re going to try…GOOD LUCK. I’m not exactly that enthusiastic, or ecstatic, about cramming five to six hours a day for finals, but I don’t have much choice. If there is one thing that I have learned in my first 15 years, it’s that if you want to succeed in the future, you have to start with the present. But STILL, teachers should really try to calm down on the crazy piling up of homework and tests all at once. I mean COME ON. We have lives outside of school…right? Eh… oh well, I refuse to fail. Wow, I feel like this is just a complain session for me. Sorry guys, I have to let it all out You know, a HUGE disadvantage about moving to different high schools is that schools have different requirements. For example, history at my current school was required freshman year. But at my old high school history didn’t start until sophomore year—SAY WHAT!? So it means that I’m behind two semesters of history. When my teacher, here, talks about things they learned last year I always think to myself, what’s the point of telling me this when I have no idea what you’re talking about? Hmm… my point is that teachers shouldn’t be allowed to put last year’s stuff into this year’s tests.
I know you’ve all had to deal with what I call the mid-term blues. You’re lazy, tired, aggravated, and awfully sick of school. Your test is the following morning and all you’ve studied is a quarter of the required material. That’s why you have to buckle down before hand. I’m doing my best to pass my classes, if you’re a student like me; I suggest you try just as hard! Good luck everyone :D

Sorry for the non-sense of this blog. I hope you enjoyed reading my little “complaint” letter folks.
